B11 in Cold Climate

#1

I’m having some issues with a B11 link that has been working fine until the temperature got bitter cold a week or so ago. PHY rates were normally solid but are now all over the place. Switching my link from 80mhz width to 40 helped quite a bit, but when it gets very cold (-25 degrees) things still seem to go south. I’ve attached a screen shot showing the correlation between temp and PHY rate. Anyone else running B11s in the cold?

Thanks,
Dan

Here is a screen shot of the same time period showing the signal/noise along with PHY rates. During the “cold time” (4:00am - 8:00am) you can see the signal and noise stay solid while RX PHY tanks.

Dan
