PTP b24 link problem

Good morning, I got a link B24, the link is 1.7 miles, for 1 week after installed with a signal of -57dBm and that is still maintained for some reason the link is falling every so often I do not know if someone has happened and can help me thanks, and has changed frequencies low power and the problem still persists.

What firmware are you using?

Have you checked the Ethernet Cables?

How are you powering the B24s?

Where are you located?

Are the radios rebooting? If so, are both radios rebooting or just one? If not what’s in the logs of the AP and Client radios?

How wide of channels are you using?

Is the link completely unobstructed? Could there be something blocking it intermittently?

Please post your channel and power page as well as the main pages of the AP and Client radio.

If there is something interesting in the Logs please post that.

If you have your devices connected to the Mimosa Cloud please post the last 24 hours of SNR and any other graph you might think will be helpful.

Hi William, I will answer every question. But as a note I inform you that now I am playing with mimosa teams.

What firmware are you using? 2.5.2-PTP

Have you checked the Ethernet Cables? UTP cat6 outdoor cable

How are you powering the B24s? POE Original

Where are you located? each in a tower

Are the radios rebooting? If so, are both radios rebooting or just one? If not what’s in the logs of the AP and Client radios? That is my doubt regarding the mimosa equipment, the time on I can not see it, I only see the time they are linked, (Link Uptime) I only see in the register that it disassociates and associates again.

How wide of channels are you using? |Center Frequency 1|24210 MHz|
| — | — |
|Center Frequency 2|24040 MHz|
|Channel Width|2x80|
|Tx Power|1dbm

Is the link completely unobstructed? Could there be something blocking it intermittently? there are no obstacles

Please post your channel and power page as well as the main pages of the AP and Client radio.

If there is something interesting in the Logs please post that.

If you have your devices connected to the Mimosa Cloud please post the last 24 hours of SNR and any other graph you might think will be helpful.
I would like to know how I can connect it, since I have it enabled but it throws me that it is disconnected

Here I leave the last record

Thank you very much for answering. Greetings from Venezuela.

Have you checked the cables to make sure they are made well and there can’t be problems stemming from them?

Ok, is that Log from the AP or the Client?

Both radios should have a uptime and a link uptime, the uptime is how long the radio has been on. So you should check that to see if either radio is rebooting. I would assume though with how short the disconnects are that the issue is not that one radio or the other is rebooting.

Short erratic drops indicate to me a problem with the link. But if you are already working with Mimosa Support then they will be able to identify the issue for you.

Hello,
have you solved this problem? I have the same problem.

Best

@Gianluca

Have you done/can answer all the questions I asked @Felix2?

Greetings friend.

The questions were answered, for some reason the problem no longer persists, but now 2 chains of each team are not reflecting any value to me.

Hi all,

same problem to me, one or two disassociation and reassociation /day and two chains are off.
Any suggest?
thank you.

Either:
@ivan14

  1. Answer the questions or contribute some of your own diagnostics to this topic.
    OR
  2. Start your own topic and provide the answers to the questions asked.

I appreciate people are seeing issues and letting the rest of us know about them, but without giving any more information your comments are not all that helpful. I have a B24 link and am not seeing these issues, I know many people with B24 links both here on the forums and in other places and no one is reporting issues. So it seems like the issue could be related to the installation if you are unwilling or unable to check for installation issues then continuing diagnostics is going to be pointless.
