Signal drop, moved or bad radio?

#1

Hi,
I believe I may have had a dish move with the high winds. Is there any way to tell which side has moved before I start moving thee wrong side?
If it isn’t the alignment I may have a bad B11. Crossing my fingers.

Probably the side with the lower signal strength showing on the signal meter. The reason being, the other side has not moved, therefore the received signal is still “aligned”. That has been the case for us on a rather troublesome skyscraper where the gusts are insane. You can also check the “aim heading” on the alignment tool for which one changed, your license will show you what the heading should be, but we find this not to be the best indicator if they are only slightly out of alignment as it will tell you that you are aligned at the right heading and if you do not have a link it is useless.
