B5c already registered, with previous IT Company

We took over management of a B5c setup for a new client, which was a takeover from a previous, hostile IT company. We’d like to manage the devices in the cloud, but can’t register them because “they’re owned by someone else.” Is there any way to disassociate the devices from their portal, and add them to ours?
