We use our B5C as backup links for our fiber infrastructure and after upgrading to 1.5.1 it seems to be issues with spanning tree. I searched and found this topic “22.214.171.124 C5c PTP Breaks Spanning Tree” and could it be the same cause?
As it is now we have to shut down the radios at all interconnecting point at the edges to prevent loops. When running 1.5.0 this worked fine.
I guess it could be a reversion issue of some sort, but I would have guessed that someone else would have made a comment about it because 1.5.1 has been out for a while.
I would recommend doing a packet capture off of the switch, like the guy in “126.96.36.199 C5c PTP Breaks Spanning Tree” and if you could post your switch vendor/modal/firmware just in case someone can duplicate your issue.
Lastly I would double check with Mimosa Support and see what they say, maybe it is intentional for some reason… who knows…
