Has anyone attempted to use an A5/C5 in an apartment building window? I have some small buildings that face my A5 and they want service, but there is no balcony. Would a C5c be better with an antenna?
Sometimes its better to transimit through the wall, not the window.

We haven’t done any installs through windows, but we did have a client site which we tested through tinted (possibly metallic) windows.
The AP was an A5-14 and I had a C5. Distance was around 300m.
If my memory serves me, the loss was about 15 - 17 dB when compared to the same location on the roof which is where the permanent mount was.
